Fernanda Sibilia
Buenos Aires, February 26th, 1974
Everything began recently more than one decade, when this young designer created a set of extremely original metal objects. These pieces had a unique beauty, fruit of a mixture of jewelry craft techniques, popular art and early XX century latinamerican art movements.
Fernanda studied at the “Escuela Municipal de Joyeria de Buenos Aires” , where she learnt the most complex jewelry techniques and skills.
SIBILIA was then born in 1996.
Today the company is based in the traditional “porteño” district of the Abasto, In the corporate office, a team of young craftsmen prepare its designs. Faithful to its origins, SIBILIA continues mixing in exact doses all the dedication and the care of the manual work with the latest trends in colours and shapes and figures.
SIBILIA is present in the most emblematic stores around the world: Hong Kong, United States, China, Japan, Mexico, UK, France, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon…
Inspired by her trips to different countries of Latin America and her daily life in a Buenos Aires with blue sky, each season multiple forms of inspiration coexist and are brought together like in a kaleidoscope.
